We offer a variety of programs that utilize sensory-cognitive instruction to strengthen weaknesses in comprehension, reading, and math.

Dyslexia Therapy

Dyslexia Therapy is a research-based program used to work with students who have dyslexia and related disorders. This comprehensive program uses Orton-Gillingham, a scientific, universally successful, specific teaching approach that combines all three learning modalities auditory, visual, and kinesthetic. Daily, intensive, one-on-one instruction is provided for the student by a Certified Academic Language Therapist (CALT/Dyslexia Therapist).

Seeing Stars®

Seeing Stars® builds a student’s ability in reading. By focusing on the use of imagery to see letters, it strengthens a student’s ability to recognize the sounds in words or phonemic awareness.

Visualizing and Verbalizing®

Visualizing & Verbalizing® builds a student’s comprehension by utilizing their imagination to image when they read. This program also focuses on vocabulary acquisition through imagery and use.

Talkies®

Talkies® assists in the basis of conversational comprehension, typically for non-verbal to low-verbal students. It focuses on building language expression and explanation of what a child sees before them. This builds the imagery - language connection with an end goal of moving a child into Visualizing and Verbalizing®.

On Cloud Nine®

On Cloud 9® builds math comprehension by using imagery to create a basis to understand the basic concepts in math. This program supports K-5 math skills.

Non-Daily Tutoring

Non-daily instruction that helps student apply their new skills to homework. A number of higher level skills can be developed. This program is recommended only if the student is in the average range for their grade.
